Fleur de Sel, known in Portugal as Flor de Sal, is used to greatest effect with straightforward dishes and foods that will accentuate its unique sweet and creamy flavor. Portuguese salt workers refer to Flor de Sal as "salt cream," as it is collected from the salt pan (or surface), the same as the cream is collected from the surface of milk. Considered the “Rolls Royce” of sea salt. Ideal for grilled fish, meat, vegetables or seasoning salads. Comes in a 4oz container.
